It is in the place of prayer that we partner with our omniscient Creator to bring forth decrees He has spoken from before anything, other than Himself, was. This mantle, which has been given to Christians, requires a faith other than that found in the place of contentment. There is a pressing difference between contending from this locale and the one coming from a foundation grounded in faith. To be content is to lack the entity needed to contend for the return of Christ. We must feel as if we are strangers here on earth whom are continually looking forward to that city and home, of which, are still to come. True faith’s prerequisite is discomfort. It is through this unsatisfaction that our longing for a greater existence and the ‘Kingdon Now’ reality has the ability to blossom in our inner man.
